Feeding Guide
Please use this information as a guide. Your dog’s breed, condition and activity levels should also be considered as well as regular weight monitoring to adjust feeding quantities as required. If you are unsure, please check with your vet.
Take care not to overfeed. Our food is more nutritionally dense which means your dog may require less food than you currently feed.
Please ensure your dog always has access to fresh water.
New to cold pressed?
We recommend switching slowly from current food to ensure adjustment. Feel cold pressed as a separate meal while switching over.
Day 1-3 Switch 25% of current food
Day 4-6 Switch 50% of current food
Day 7-9 Switch 75% of current food
Day 9+ Feed 100% of Wilsons food
Store in a cool, dry place. If decanting use a breathable container.
Delivery
For most of the UK, you’ll receive free shipping on orders over £30, and for orders under £30 you’ll pay a £4.21 delivery fee. Please note that our Cold Pressed and Raw Food sample boxes automatically have free delivery applied to them, irrespective of whether the order value is less than £30.
For some parts of Scotland, we currently cannot deliver Raw Frozen Food and due to their location there are higher delivery fees for Cold Pressed Dry Food. Customers who live in these areas will pay £9.52 for orders under £30 and £5.31 for orders over £30. See full list of restrictions here >
We aim to dispatch orders within 2-4 working days of you placing your order with us. You’ll receive an automated email to let you know when your order has shipped, which will include tracking information so you can stay up to date on your delivery’s progress. UK bank holidays are not classed as a working day, so please allow an extra day or two for dispatch. Samples may take up to 10 working days for dispatch.
Raw Frozen Food orders: We will only deliver Raw Frozen Food on a Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday or Friday to avoid deliveries defrosting and spoiling whilst in transit.

Molly my Rottweiler loves this food, she can’t have chicken based food because of her sensitive tummy.
We’ve tried her on the white fish which she liked but prefers the insect one.

Our elderly dog was suffering from a yeast ear infection , so after a trip to the vets , she suggested an ‘ insect ‘ food ! … all new to us , we brought a 2 Kg bag to try , and wow !… they LOVE IT !!…. And we love it too , because our dogs ear ( along with his medication) has cleared up , but I am sure that the food , has helped no end !…. Glossy coats , happy dogs , we are very happy , thank you !!

We are currently trialing insect diet with our golden retriever due to possible allergies to meat. We have always struggled getting him to eat dry kibble but these larger pony nut shaped kibble are perfect for him and he happily eats them with no problems. He loves them.
Fingers crossed this is the solution to his problems.
I also saw somewhere that you were in the process of bringing out a wet insect diet food is that correct ?

I have tried other Insect based foods but this one ticks all the boxes.
I just wish the pellets were smaller as one of my dogs has very few teeth so I either have to soak it or break it up.
I must add that one of them is epileptic and since being on insect based food she has gone from several seizures a day to about three a year!

We recently changed to this dog food for our two Miniature Dachshunds as one of them had an unknown skin allergy.
The scratching has reduced massive.
This food has a good ingredients ratings on the various dog food comparison sites, which was a must.
One of our two dogs is a fussy eater, but she seems to love this food.
If I'm being picky, our only issue is the size of the pellets. We found that our smaller of our two Dachshunds seemed to be sick shortly after eating, we soon realised that this was due to the food getting stuck down her throat. We now break her pellets in half and she is no longer sick after eating.
Be sure to check the feeding guide as at first we were overfeeding.
