What is Wilsons to the Rescues?

We have been donating to different rescue centres right across the UK for over three years now through our Wilsons to the Rescues campaign.  

We believe all dogs deserve the same love and care we show them in our own homes. Having produced pet food in Scotland for over 160 years, the campaign aims to help feed dogs in rescue centres across the UK.

For every bag, box or tray of Wilsons sold, we donate food to charity while giving our customers and social media followers the chance to get involved by voting for the Rescue Centre they want their donation to go to.

This campaign isn’t just about promoting nutrition, but also about helping to raise awareness of national and local Rescue Centres by giving these charities a platform to share their stories and the amazing work they do on a day-to-day basis.

Over the course of the campaign we have supported 10 different charities so far, including Birmingham Dogs Home, Dunrunnin Rehoming Centre, Dumfries & Galloway Canine Rescue Centre and Snowdonia Animal Sanctuary to name a few. In just 3 years we have proudly donated over 39,000 meals, based on a medium sized dog - 250g of food per day.
