Dog accessories handmade in the UK by Berts Bows

Berts Bows is a family business which handmakes bow ties and accessories for dogs in a wide range of fabrics near Dorchester, Dorset.

Husband and wife, Jane and Steve, founded Berts Bows (named after their Cockapoo Bertie) in 2017 when after looking for bowties as presents, they found the quality of products available just wasn't up to the standard that they were looking for so they decided to hand make their own. 

They initially made bowties for family and friends, then, without Jane knowing, Steve decided to take some samples into local pet stores who, after seeing the products' exceptional quality, jumped at the opportunity to stock them! 

Since then, their company has continued to grow and has evolved into the business it is today! Supported by an array of fantastic independent pet shops, Jane was even able to give up her full time career to focus solely on Berts Bows.

Their signature style Bows use tweed fabric woven in the UK which they specifically chose for it's stylish, durable fabric, and also gave a very British look.

As they have grown, their product range has too. They now also create snoods and scarfs, beds and blankets, sit mats, heat bags and hand warmers, doorstops and more!
